Assorted samples of the artwork on offer

I am absolutely beside myself with excitement to announce the launch of Unprintable.

Unprintable is an online free shop, where original artwork and arts resources are released into the public domain.

Everything listed here is free to use, copy and remix any way you like. You can print off hi-res artwork to decorate your apartment, or to use in your own projects. You can use the writing in your own zines, anthologies or performances. You can put it on a t-shirt. You can read it on the radio. You can paint it on a truck. It's up to you, entirely and forever.

The collection will be updated continuously, on an unfixed schedule, with contributions from a wide range of named and anonymous artists and activists. You can read the FAQ for a full rundown of what Unprintable is and why it exists, but these are the really important parts:

Can I download/print/use the work listed here?

Yes.

Can I use it for [X]?

You can do whatever you want with it forever.

But what if I want to [Y]?

You can do whatever you want with it forever.

Why do this?

A few reasons:

1. We want a space to just share things, no strings attached.

We recognise that copyright is an irrational system that was designed to protect the profit interests of publishing middlemen and IP hoarders. In fact, copyright is often weaponised against the creators it pretends to protect. As long as it exists, we are unlikely to win any other form of protection for our work, and we are profoundly limited from engaging in the kind of communal artistic and storytelling practices that were the norm around the world for thousands of years.

2. Radical art is often unprintable.

Profit motives make people cautious. A lot of print-on-demand or local print shop services will refuse artwork with controversial, sensitive or political content. This is very frustrating when these themes are the focus of so much of our work (and indeed our lives). Rather than waste any more breath trying to explain why a trans artist might want to print the word ‘faggot’, we can give our work away for free. Got a printer? It’s yours.

3. It feels good.

Sharing is joyful. It’s the reason we love making things in the first place. We don’t write poems because we look forward to filleting them for consumption, or layer colours so that we can sell a canvas by the ounce. We have only ever wanted to be able to support ourselves so that we can make, but that relationship is deeply dysfunctional under capitalism. We made these things, and we want you to have them. It doesn’t need to be complicated.

I'll write up some more posts introducing the launch collection soon. In the meantime...be free, enjoy, explore, have fun!

I'm halfway through getting off prednisone and I think it has really calmed me down, lol (wrt not posting everyday/through it). Sleep still not great but hopefully getting better. Also I've been nausea free for like...a week?? Incredible progress! I eat rice, mashed potatoes, and chicken everyday, only, but you know...better than nausea tbh. I got garlic powder, onion powder, and lemon juice back so you know, definitely trending upwards! Tonight I'm gonna try pepper but I don't have high hopes. I can live without pepper tbh. We'll see though.

The villicote supplement from the naturopath hasn't caused any problems so idk, hard to ever tell if it's working. I did re-try eggs the other day and I guess that was one day with some nausea so "a week nausea free" isn't 100% accurate but it is in spirit. All to say, I'm not like, better, just finding things that work.

And today I got the first onboarding call to start the new/last Crohn's med available to me, Rinvoq (a daily pill), so we'll see how long it takes that to get going. I believe there's Skyrizi in me til mid-April and I'm not done with prednisone til the end of April but I'm not sure that matters to my GI doc or the drug company. Rinvoq says it took a year for 50% ish of their study participants to notice a decrease of symptoms so I'll be curious on the next call with someone with some knowledge (either my GI or the drug rep) if that's the plan, evaluate at a year, or if it can be evaluated at 3 months like my past biologics.

Oh, I mean, I guess this is implied but that was also the last update - I got my ileoscopy last Friday and the verdict was "lotta inflammation, Skyrizi officially isn't working" which was just a nice confirmation post-hospital I guess. So yeah, life seems livable again. With the corticosteroid decrease, I'm taking a nap every day so maybe after I'm off it entirely I'll get serious about looking into iron infusions but I am also very lucky and privileged to live a pace that I can also take a nap every day, so idk. Much to consider! My last concern is weight loss, still down 10 lbs after being discharged and that is Bad but I'm not sure what else to do. Hopefully it at least stabilizes 🤞

Pitch submissions for issue 2 have closed! Thank you to everyone who submitted! I'll be contacting people whose submissions are chosen over the next couple days!

The Adult Analysis Anthology is a collection of longform essays that seek to increase the
overall supply of high-quality writing about porn games and porn game
culture. Pitches are open to EVERYBODY, regardless of prior writing experience! If you enjoyed the first issue and have a great idea for an essay to be included in the next one, I'd love to hear it! Also, this isn't just limited to Cohost users - absolutely feel free to share this post with friends or communities who might be interested in pitching! And yes, as with the first issue, contributors will be paid for their final essays (see below for more on that).

A few notes about pitches:

  • Please keep pitches SHORT. Try to keep it to 2-3 sentences per pitch!
  • Multiple pitches are welcome, but only one pitch per person will be accepted.
  • When choosing subjects for pitches, keep in mind that the wordcount for the final essay should be around 1000-2000 words.
  • Pitches from previous contributors are welcome. Also, if you submitted a pitch to a previous issue and it wasn't accepted, feel free to pitch it again!
  • 8-12 pitches will be accepted.

Regarding payment:

  • Once the selected pitches have been finalized, a flexible-funding Indiegogo campaign will be launched, with the goal set such that each contributor will be paid at least $75 USD should it meet the goal.
  • So, for example: if 10 pitches are accepted, the goal would be set at $750 USD plus tax, platform fee, and an additional $75 USD for my own work compiling & editing the anthology.
  • If the campaign exceeds its goal, the excess will be evenly divided among all contributors.
  • On the other hand, if the campaign does not meet its goal, whatever it does take in will be split evenly between all contributors. Contributors will be given the option of backing out of the anthology should the campaign not meet its goal.

Ideas for pitches:

  • First off, I recommend at least skimming the contents of the first issue to make sure your idea isn't too similar to something that's already been covered.
  • Reviews of individual porn games, or series of porn games!
  • Personal accounts of experiences playing porn games, or your own relationship to porn games
  • If you're a porn game developer, accounts of your experience are welcome!
  • Similarly, if you're interested in interviewing someone related to porn games, I'd love to hear your idea!
  • Observations of trends in the development, evolution, or business of porn games!
  • Everything is on the table, so long as it pertains to porn games! Surprise me!
